Fundamental Skills of Managing is one of two foundation courses in the Supervision Series, which help to develop skills that are basic to all the other courses in this series. Students acquire these skills through a variety of exercises and skill building techniques. This course addresses an audience of team leaders, supervisors, and first-line managers.
Fundamental Skills of Managing teaches a participatory management style to help team leaders be successful. Team leaders will learn how to maintain team member self-esteem; focus on behavior; encourage team member participation; and listen to motivate.
Fundamental Skills of Managing teaches principles and skills, with a foundation of building trust, self-respect and dignity, which are essential in effectively managing the changing workforce.
